Seems like a funny question, but I know XP 32bit was limited to 4GB total Memory (RAM+VRAM+whatever other memory used) purley due to 32bit limitations. I don't know what is deciding the limit on Windows 7 64bit.... Is it just Microsoft deciding to make a limit which is then just coded into the OS.
